Dora Phillips

November seems to be a favorite month for counting our blessings.  With the dual celebration of Thanksgiving and Black Friday (is this not a holiday at your house?), we give a good bit of thought to our friends and family members.  Setting the perfect table, finding a flawless gift, and creating homemade gifts have one main thing in common -- they all showcase the love we feel for those in our lives.

Ready for a super challenge?  A thankful album.  Yes, I did say an album.  I am committing to using the 30 days of November to celebrate 30 people and items that I am thankful for in my life.  I know that I will not be able to scrap every day of the month, but I have a special notebook ready so that each day I can make notes and be thankful.  And, to make sure I keep up with it, I will show it here next month.  Want to join me?  I dare you!

I can start today with I am thankful for my husband.  Eleven years of marriage and countless hours of driving him insane, yet he is still right there by my side swiping bites of my cake (see layout to understand!).  With my kids taking up lots of time and being really cute right now, I tend to scrap mostly them, but found this picture that my mother in law snapped at my son's birthday party.  I could not get it to my scrap desk quickly enough.

Here, I go: November 1, I am thankful for my husband.  Looking forward to being thankful again tomorrow.

Wishing you a happy month,
