I’ve never fared well in the cold, so even
though the winters are pretty mild where I live,
I mostly stay inside. Anything under eighty
degrees, and I need a sweater! Once it starts
warming up outside, I usually spend my time
gardening, riding horses, taking long walks, or
reading a book on a lounge chair while watching
my kids play.
How will you enjoy the nice weather that is approaching? Whatever way it may be, don’t forget your camera so you can scrap all about it when you come home!

Design Note:
What a great sketch to use to showcase that
one large photo! I definitely needed a
sketch like this to capture McKenna's
birthday moment as large as it was in life!
However, since my printer only prints a
little smaller than eleven inches on my 8.5"
x 11" photo paper, I used the measurement of
the width of the picture to create a square,
and then framed it with the traditional
twelve-inch paper. This sketch and that
technique also enabled me to use lots of
patterned paper on the page - making it as
bright as the moment!

Design
note:
I had multiple photos placed on the layout. It looked
terribly boring, but once
I added chipboard frames, it looked brilliant. I decided
to leave the chipboard bare
naked because it fit the layout so well. |

Design Note:
Instead
of one large photo spanning the page, I
wanted to use a series of photos. My son
loved his dollar spot bunny ears and had a
blast taking pictures with them on. The
pictures came out cute and I couldn’t pick
just one to use. I used the center
embellishment circle as part of the title
and went simple with photo corners to the
right and left of the title to draw
attention to it.
