 Jen Wuthrich

Screen printing is not a new concept by any stretch of the imagination, but until recently I never really put it together with scrapbooking. That changed for me when Hambly first caught my eye a little over a year ago.  I have to admit, I might have been slow at jumping on the bandwagon… but with so much inspiration everywhere, from online galleries to the most popular scrapbooking magazines, I had to give it a try.

What about you? Have you tried Screen Prints on your layouts or other crafting projects?  If you haven’t I want to challenge you this month to do it! If you need a little inspiration I am sure these layouts will inspire you!  I look forward to seeing what you create.

Design Note:  I colored in the "eights" on the KI Lace background, just a little fun thing to do.

8 is Great by Natalie Dever Supplies: Paper: Bazzill, KI Memories, Screen Print Overlay: Hambly, Chipboard: Heidi Swapp, Stickers: KI Memories, American Crafts, Other: ribbon.

Design note: This Hambly Screen print frame wasn't quite big enough to go on the top and bottom of my photo so I trimmed it in half.

Autumn by Reneé Morris-Dezemeber Supplies: Paper: Sweetwater, Pebbles Inc., Artic Frog, Basic Grey, Cardstock: Bazzill, Kraft, Around the Block, Crocheted Blossom: 7 Gypsies, Screen Print: Hambly, Other: felt ribbon.

Design Notes: I used the screen prints as embellishments. Even though they were journaling spots, I only used one to journal on, and embellished the other.

My Girl by Michelle Boeckermann. Supplies: Paper: Cloud 9, Acrylic Flower: Page frame Designs, Screen Print Journal Spots: Hambly, Die Cut "Girl": My Mind's Eye, Velvet alpha: Around the Block, Die Cut Flower: Deluxe Cuts, Brads: Memory Makers, Ribbon: American Crafts, Velvet Scroll Ribbon: Queen and Co., Epoxy Dots: Sticko, Bling, Flocking Powder: Around the Block, Other: silver pen, Pop Dots, Glossy Accent, Crop-a-dile.
