Journal With
Me Dora
Phillips

What to do?
Start with a journal. You can scrap a
fancy one or buy one you like. I spent
a few nights making one for all the women in
my life from my 8 year old niece to my Aunt (who
would kill me if I acknowledge her as our
oldest living female relative -- whoops, just
did). As you can see from the cover of
the magazine, I started out with 10 journal
gifts and have kept on making them. I
did keep them all as simple and flat as I
could since I want them to hold up to lots
of use.
Next step?
Bookmark the blog:
http://journalwithme.blogspot.com/ and
tune in each Sunday (or when you can early
in the week). Take a bit of time to
ponder the thought and then write a
page or two. Enjoy some fond memories,
work through some painful feelings, giggle
and relive a bit of you. No need to
hunt for pictures--this is not a scrap
thing, but a girl thing. Feel free to
have a bit of chocolate at hand to promote
clear thinking.
Final step?
Spread the obsession. If you are
enjoying yourself, give another gal pal the
gift of herself. Hand her a journal, a
pen, and our virtual jar. Give her a
hug and a nudge. And remember to take
a little time for you--your future self will
thank you for it and so will those who
treasure a piece of you on down the line.

Design Note: I love this
question paper for my preteen niece's
journal. She was always one to ask
questions about EVERYTHING. I am
certain that she is going to be a strong
journal sister.

Brown
Journals by Dora
Phillips. Supplies: Paper,
Stickers, Journal Cards: Cloud 9,
Sandylion, Journal: Apego.

Design
note:
With this being a 'mom' journal, I wanted something that
represented me, the mom. Pink is my favorite color so naturally I chose
shades of pink. I added the line of three hearts to represent my three
children. And a pink mom notebook wouldn't be complete without a few
sparkly jewels! Totally me!

Design Note: My daughter picked
these papers out for her Aunt and Great

they are "filled with love, Mom."
