Happy Summer!

Summer is hands down my favorite time of year.  I am not a snow gal, but a hot-as-you-can-go sunshine lover.  I am just about ready for the fun to begin.  The last final exam has been administered and my grades are turned in, freeing me for summer vacation.  The pool pass is purchased and the kids are finished with their swim lessons.  I just bought a gorgeous red laptop reserved just for digital creating and scrapping and am wandering through stores looking for the perfect lounge chair to make my yard "studio" complete.  The kids and I have a full calendar of places to go and people to see for the summer months.  I have 3 months off and 2 delightful kids who will turn 6 and 9 this summer--this may just be my best summer ever.

Do you remember your best summer?  The one that lives there in your mind as the "good old days"?  When you hear a song or smell a tart glass of lemonade does it all come rushing back to you?  There are so many delightful colors, scents, textures that I associate with summer.  And ALL of them inspire me to scrap.  As I was setting up my new computer, I burned fresh cds of all my pictures over the last year.  I had 5 times as many pictures of summer than of any other season.  And, as a result, many more summer layouts than all of the rest combined.

I can hardly wait to make new memories and plan to scrap them while they are fresh.  What is on your summer scrapping to do list?
