Welcome to Chat Lane! My name is Terry and I’ll be your narrator here for
a while. Lori has accepted some bigger and better responsibilities at ScrapStreet and has handed over the reins to Chat Lane to me.
Before I get started, I really want to take a minute and
thank Lori. Her Chat Lane’s always brought a smile, renewed a fond memory or gave us directions to look for something we’d missed on the Boards. Jakey, you will also be missed and
I sure hope you’ll drop in once in a while and keep me in line!
The month started out with a hugely popular weekend crop celebrating National Scrapbook Day. Kerns459 was the overall crop winner. Dora managed to sneak in a super secret bonus prize, which Scrappy_Mom_in_MI
won! Congratulations, ladies!
May was a wonderfully colorful month with Lori hosting a blossoming round of bingo! The wonderful bouquet of words brought a bright spot to what could have otherwise been a very gloomy month. Lots of rain, thunderstorms, and severe weather seemed to linger in everyone’s hometown.
May took us to Cannes, France and we celebrated the annual film festival with a crop weekend dedicated to glamour, film, red carpet and casinos.
Top 10 things we learned in May:
10. Desktop monitors do get jealous of brand new cherry-red laptops!
9. A teenager can work for a psycho boss and enjoy it,
even if she has a mother and 20 street sister
mothers already.
8. Pottys can make music, but you have to be able to
wake your pee-pee up first! Just don't ask Aunt Woey
to do it!
7. If you’re looking for a puppy, look towards Lori’s place.
She has plenty and offers special delivery!
6. “Dora Boxes” are the best!
but you have to eat your veggies first!
5. Chocolate pyramids are addictive.
4. Don’t stay away from the boards for very long, or you’ll come back to 7 pages of posts!

Hard to believe that it’s June already! Where is this year going? We’re into the month of weddings, graduations, confirmations, and ceremonies of all sorts. Can’t wait to share all those upcoming important moments, and maybe some of those not-so-important moments as well, with all of you.
