Going Places

 Dora Phillips

Each month, ScrapStreet travels to a new street, taking inspiration from that particular location.  We learn a bit about our stop and try to infuse that knowledge and attitude in our creations.  The monthly challenges encourage us to shake up our scrapping, trying new techniques, themes, and altered items as well as cards and color combinations.  Travel along with us as we spend July enjoying:

World Bodypainting Festival

Seeboden, Carinthia, Austria

Look at all that inspiration! This month we head to Austria to examine the work of some of the finest body painting artists in the world. Their use of color and creativity is sure to send us all racing to our scrap desks!

                      The Challenges

Color

This month grab your boldest, brightest, most alive colors and head for your scrap desk. Try mixing and matching these fabulous hues together.

Theme

ALIVE! Show us the funny faces, the daredevil ideas, the diva inside each of your subjects. That's right--get out and go crazy!

Card

We are celebrating life this month and what could be better? Grab your scraps and make some fabulous birthday cards celebrating the lives of all your friends and family.

Technique

Time to color! Use paints, crayons, markers, chalk--any medium you wish, but take a tip from the body artists and have some fun coloring this month!
