Each month, our pit crew is given a
product to play with, review and create with. What
inspires each of us varies month to month. The muted,
simple yet elegant design of these papers brought out a
more masculine feel to our creations. Some of us
continued with the travel theme, while others were led
to do moments. All ended up with beautiful items that we
are proud to showcase for you this month.

Journaling: Life with you is
one, big ADVENTURE.
Design note: I tried to think
outside the box and instead of doing a travel or
vacation layout with these paper, I let the accents
inspire me and I created a page about my enterprising
husband and the adventurous life we have.

Goodbye,
Keuka Lake 2007 by Lindsey Krauss. Supplies:
Paper,
Stickers, Snap, Rub-ons: Making Memories, Ink: Ranger,
Flower: Prima, Sketch by Marilyn McKnight.
Design
note: Making
Memories never disappoints when it comes to supplies of
all kinds! For this photo, I needed paper as nostalgic
as the photo made me feel. This is always a bittersweet
day, leaving our upstate haven, which we only visit once
a year. The papers were as important to me as the photo
itself. Making Memories' traveling papers were more than
perfect, although not in the conventional way. The
papers helped me to explain, without words, that we were
far from home and about to travel at the time of the
photo both with their design and color. The stickers
noted subtly that it was our vacation and it's always an
adventure. The postcard was cut from a piece of
patterned paper from the line and it just made the most
perfect journaling spot!

Design note: I have
always wanted something to hold my CHA badges,
pins and memorabilia from my trips to CHA Chicago
and Anaheim. These papers were perfect for this
chest and hold everything wonderfully! I used the
rub-on inside on the mirror, and it went on very
easy.
