Just Enough

Dora Phillips

Some times a little bit is just enough.  A bite of the richest dessert, a sip of the tangiest cocktail, a day in the snow--sometimes a little bit can give you the joy without the guilt, the hangover, or the shovel.  The same holds true for pictures.  Want to really focus your layout and convey a very specific message?  Try cropping your picture and scrap just enough.

Cover Winner!

We loved all of the little details that make this a perfect baby layout!

Sweet Cheeks by Cheryl Baase.  Supplies:  Paper: Webster's Pages, Cardstock: Bazzill, Flowers: Prima, Stickers: Webster's, Pen:  Zig, Other:  Fibers.

Mud by Detta Owens. Supply list: Cardstock:  Die Cuts With a View, Bazzill, Paper:  My Mind's Eye, Buttons:  Foofala, Ink:  Clearsnap, Diecuts:  Cricut.

Design note: I chose the buttons on the circles as design elements to go with the bicycle wheels in the photo. This is picture of my niece. She was very proud of how muddy her legs were and asked me to take a picture of them so I obliged. This page is actually part of a 6x12 mini album I did in September. I chose a quote for each day and found a photo to illustrate it. This was Sept 14.

Design note: Remember that even some of those not so perfect pictures can portray so much - so scrap them!

Journaling: This child is accident prone!

Warning by Kate Hughes.   Supplies: Paper:  Scenic Route, Cardstock:  Bazzill, Rub ons:  7 Gypsies, Chipboard:  BasicGrey, Stickers:  Miss Elizabeth's, Ink:  Stampabilities.
