I love rain.
Honest. My favorite is a powerful
summer storm where you can just smell the
rain coming; can feel it in the air.
Those storms have such power and leave the
earth so clean and fresh afterwards.
As I sit here just a
few days away from April, I wonder if we
will see any showers that do not include the
word snow this month. It has been an
especially rough winter, with more than
double our usual snow. I confess, I am
starting to dream of a nice WARM spring rain
to play in.

Design Note: I did this page using an acrylic sheet as a background. I
bought a large piece of acrylic and cut it down to a 12x12 sheet with a
glass cutter.
Journaling: (on the back of the card stock) My two grand-daughters had so much fun playing in the gutter after this
downpour! The gutters were running fast and the water was warm. They
played until the gutters were almost empty again! I had to take them in
and put them in a hot bath afterwards. They were freezing!!!

Journaling: August 18, 2007 ~ Cort and I went to
Mid-Michigan to visit. Mom bought us Trace Atkins tickets. We had a great time,
even in the rain!!! pg 2: Trace Atkins Concert After waiting in line for over an hour, we picked a seat
on the top row of the bleachers, so we could see over all the umbrellas. Cort
zoomed her camera to take a pic of the stage & all the umbrellas in front. A wet
concert but fun anyway!!!
