Card Corner

Jenn Keefer

Trick-or-Treat!!  It's that time of year again, one of my favorite holidays is just around the corner.  Halloween!  This month we're celebrating the creepy and the spooky with wonderfully crafted cards.  I absolutely enjoyed seeing all the submissions; the witches, the bats, the black cats - all the symbols of Halloween.

Editor's note:

Beware! by Charlene Cundy.  Supplies:  Paper: Making Memories,  Die Cuts: Making Memories, Creative Imaginations, Other: Ribbon.

Design note:

When using flock, it's always a good idea to go over the flock with a brayer to press it down better into the adhesive you used.

A Witchin Halloween by Kimberlee Doktor.  Supplies: Paper:  Glitz Design, Rub-ons: Making Memories, Stamps: Stamping Bella, Studio G, Flock: Doodlebug Design, Inc., Ink: Clearsnap, Tsukineko, Ranger, Markers: Copic,  Adhesive: Tombo, Other: Clear Embossing Powder, Glue Dots.

Design note:

To make the card itself, I folded a piece of Outside the Box paper by Pink Paislee in half and then cut that in half on a trimmer. For the broomsticks,  I used part of the pole stamp from Inque Boutique'ss Distressed Halloween set and I used a little straw stamp from the Fall Elements set, which I stamped several times to make the broom bristles.

Witch Parking by Melissa Bove.  Supplies: Paper: Pink Paislee, Inque Boutique, Stamps: Inque Boutique, Fall Elements, Lil Stamp, Ink: Clearsnap, Chipboard: Inque Boutique, Sticker: Jolee's Boutique, Ribbon:  KI Memories, Pen: Sharpie, Other: ribbon, brads, clear tape.

Journaling:  Witch Parking...   others will be Toad
