Cluttered
Blvd by Christa Parker
There are
dozens of markers and pens that we scrapbookers
use. Because of this, finding the right storage
solution for each style can be challenging.
Here are some
storage tips for all the different styles of
markers and pens.
-
The
basic, single-tip writing (journaling) pen
can be stored any way. If storing them
vertical, I recommend you store them upside
down; this keeps the ink at the correct end
of the pen and ready for you to use at all
times.
-
If the
pen is a gel pen, again this can be stored
any way, but is recommended that they are
stored upside down if you store them
vertically. This keeps the gel ink towards
the tip and won’t dry out.
-
If your
marker is a double-tipped marker (ones with
a fine tip on one end and brush or other
style tip on the other end) they must be
stored horizontally. This will even the
distribution of the ink to both ends and
won’t dry out one side.
With these
tips, in mind here are some storage ideas.
