‘Tis the
season! I know the store displays have been out
for, ohhh, three or four months now, but for me
THIS is the beginning of the holiday season.
The making of the Christmas cards officially
kicks the door open for me. This year I’ve
opted to go digital since my darling husband has
asked me to include a family photo. We had
family portraits made about a week ago and I
don’t have the proofs back yet, so I have
nothing thus far. I have high hopes that once I
send this article in my photographer, a family
friend, will send me the proofs. Never fear
though, I have rounded up a lot of inspiration
to help you get in the groove!

Editor’s note:
I love the many layers and the depth of this
card. The ‘big’ on the card works really
well here. The big stitches, the snowflake,
the ribbon – it all comes together
fabulously!

Gallagher. Supplies: Paper: BasicGrey,
Cardstock: Die Cuts With A View, Floss: DMC,
Snowflake: JoAnn's Essentials, Ribbon:
Offray.

Design note:
Create your own 'scalloped edge' using deco
edge scissors on fun patterned paper, then
attach the strip to the bottom of the card
edge. |

Snow Snow Snow Card by Dee
Gallimore-Perry. Supplies:
Paper, Cardstock, Frame,
Cardstock Sticker, Ribbon:
BoBunny, Chipboard: American Crafts, Gems:
Westrim Crafts, Deco edge scissors: Fiskars.
 |

Design note:
Use a circular cardstock sticker for the
center of a flower. Quick, easy and adds a
whimsical touch. To create the stitching
simply stitch a zigzag stitch back and forth
several times until you reach the desired
effect.
