Aunt Digi Presents...

Blog Beautiful

Hello again all, Digi here,

So, chickies, you know your dear aunt loves to spend her time bopping around online searching for sites to inspire you.  This month, I found some lovely blogs designed by talented digi designers.  I also found some with beautiful scrapping inspiration showcased in tired blog templates.  Tsk, Tsk, dearies.  It is time to sweep the cobwebs out of your bloggy corners and deck them out for a festive season.  And Aunt Digi has some spots to visit to help you.

When Aunt Digi started her first blog, the site that offered the most help was Tips for New Bloggers.  It has easy directions to add extra columns, change your header, make a favicon, and so many other fun gadgets.  It does not seem to be updated regularly, but it is a great place to start.

Want a more detailed template to start you off on your merry way?  Try Blogger Templates.  I think you will find some gorgeous inspiration to get you all excited for decking the halls.  Another fabulous place to roam around in is Our Blogger Templates which offers so many ducky choices.

Now that you have you basic blog all beautiful, it is time to add some widgets.  What is a widget?  A little bit of code that will do something fun for your blog.  Want a tab view or a special look for your top commentators?  Then, you need a widget.  Try  Bloggingtips.com or Bloggerbuster.com for a list of fun ones to try.

It may take a bit of time, loves, but the results will be glorious and worth of showing off all of your scrappy goodies.

That's all for now, darlings.  May your blog be merry and bright!
