Hoo’s Got a Bucket List?

Recently, on a date out with my husband I went to see the movie The Bucket List.  Without giving away the movie (in case some of you haven’t seen it), it is about a couple of men that years prior made a “bucket list”, a list of things that they want to do before they die.

Life gets in the way they find themselves too busy raising families and building businesses, and life in general is always too pressing to worry about fulfilling those “dreams” on their list.  They eventually wind up in the hospital together.  The two men finally have a moment to stand still and reflect on their lives and start to recall their bucket lists and decide to take life by the horns and actually accomplish their list.  It’s at this point that the movie becomes quite entertaining and humorous.

After watching this movie, it got me thinking about all of those things that I jot down from time to time.  One of my longest lists seems to deal with scrapbooking, everything from new techniques that I would like to try to ideas of layouts that I would like to scrap.

Design note: Adding an owl to this layout was the perfect touch to the title.

Hooters by Marcie Morgan Supplies: Paper: Autumn Leaves, Stickers: Autumn Leaves, American Crafts, Coupon: My Mind’s Eye, Photo Corner: one heart one mind, Transparency: Hambly.

Design note:  It’s my first time trying out stamping with clear stamps on a layout.

Just 2 by Pearl Liu Supplies: Paper, Felt, Alpha, Stickers: KI Memories, Rub-ons: Hambly, Clear Stamps: Sassafras Lass.

Journaling: Joshua @2, the littlest one in a family of 6, the one with the husky voice!

Design note: This was a Easter photo but since I had plenty of Easter photos I decided to use it non-themed focusing on her hamming it up for the camera.  I also wasn't happy with how the "hoot" letters looked by themselves, so I put blue cardstock behind the letters to make them stand out more.  And using the owl for one of the O's was different.  I drew the stitches by hand.

You Are a Hoot! By Lisa Jamerson Supplies: Paper: Bazzill, Sassafrass Lass, Rub-ons, Letters: Sassafrass Lass, Thickers: American Crafts, Chipboard: Stampin’ Up!, Ink: Ranger, Pen: Creative Memories.
