If there is one card you learn to make and keep
in your stash at ALL TIMES, it’s a birthday
card. After all, who doesn’t celebrate
birthdays? I know as each month rolls around, my
calendar is peppered with birthdays and party
invitations. Having these cards on hand means
you’ll never get stuck and have to run out to
the store for your greeting card. It’s the
one card that is SURE to save you a small
fortune when you make your own!

Editor's note: Any
patterned paper against black or another
dark color will really pop, but the pastels
in this really add drama.
