Aimee Harrison Designs
Welcome to our March discovery designer Aimee from Aimee Harrison Designs, (also known as GirlBoheme). Aimee has an interesting and rather nomadic background as you can see from her details below! Aimee has been paper scrapping since 1994 and after designing various forms of digital art over the last 10 years, her boyfriend urged her to take the plunge into digital scrapbooking in 2009.
Aimee loves the grungy, worn or shabby look that is so popular, but keeps her designs realistic and traditional. With her background in Archaeology and Geography, Aimee likes her kits to have a very realistic feeling, so there are often photographs of elements in her designs as opposed to elements created with actions. Aimee draws inspiration from everyday life including her love of faraway places, antiques and color. Aimee declares she is addicted to color and color combos, so fun and vibrant colors are often found in her kits.
Take a look at some of Aimee's products and see what her creative team made with them. We wish Aimee the best of luck with her designs and thank her for the wonderful and serene kit My Inner Bliss, that is our free kit for March.
An English Wedding
A beautiful kit created for a friend's wedding, reminiscent of an English lavender garden! Versatile enough for special occasions and more general layouts.
A beautiful, rich and vibrant vintage or heritage style kit that is perfect for so many different kinds of photos!
Hero of the Day
A beautiful kit with more masculine colors and dedicated to all the heroes in our life and an ode to Martin Luther King, Jr.
Hi, I am Aimee and thrilled to be the featured designer this month. I live in SW Michigan with my boyfriend and 4 cats. I have lived all over the US though, from New York to Oregon. I love being back in my hometown! After high school I studied Archaeology and Geography at the University I attended, but decided to travel around the US exploring all places and meeting new people. I love to both scrap and design and I keep an art journal.
I hope you enjoy seeing my designs and please stop awhile at my blog and store where you can find out a little more about me and my designs.
