Ah, February. What a wonderful month, filled with a whole day devoted to expressing your love for someone else whether it’s your spouse, significant other, a couple that’s special to you, or even your child. Valentine’s Day is about love, in all its wondrously different variations. It’s the perfect time to shower your loved one with gifts, or whisper sweet nothings in your sweetie’s ear, or (since we are scrappers!) to create a layout to showcase that love. Or, if you’re like my husband, you could just completely forget why February 14 is so important to many women. But let’s focus on the positive right now (and I’ll try to remember that he did at least propose on Valentine’s Day…even if that was the last romantic thing he did…).
Usually when you think of Valentine’s Day and “Just the Two of Us,” couples caught up in love are the first “Two” you think of. So let’s first focus on layouts created by a person in love for that person she loves. The variety of “Two of Us” layouts is astounding: these first three layouts highlight how wonderful being
just the two of us can be.

Now It's Just Us Two by Artful Amanda
Digital Supplies: Kits: Steampunk Christmas kit by Circle Of Life Scraps (Enchanted Studio Scraps) except the
tag and daisy are from Dragons & Dungeons by EMSArts (Cool Scraps Digital), Software: paint.net and Photoshop Elements 6, Fonts: Amada (personal font).
Design Notes: Background paper
(floral) was tinted to blend with photos and elements.
Journaling:
Through the years, through all the good and bad
I knew how much we had, I've always been so glad
To be with you ... Through the years
It's better every day, you've kissed my tears away
As long as it's okay, I'll stay with you
Through the years
Through the years, when everything went wrong
Together we were strong, I know that I belong
Right here with you ... Through the years
I never had a doubt, we'd always work things out
I've learned what love's about, by loving you. Through the years

Memories by Maria Janik
Digital
Supplies: Calm Sea by Sekada Designs, Word Art: Elegant Word Art by Bethany, Software: PSP Corel X.
Design Notes: The layout is dedicated to my husband Mirek, who died Feb 19, 2010.

I Heart You by Kat
Digital Supplies: Kit: Dear Diary by Laura Banasiak and Litabells Designs (The Digichick), Software: Photoshop CS4 Extended, Font: Fonts for Peas fonts, Photo Action: Boost by Pioneer Woman.
Design Notes: I used the Pioneer
Woman's Boost photo action (love that action!) because I love
the oomph it gives photos. Once I ran that, I changed its sepia
myself because I thought the sepia tone would go better with the
kit colors.
Journaling: Remember when […] we went
on our first official date? We used to go for long walks in the
rain? You spontaneously proposed on my old couch? We found out
we were going to have a baby? What if […] I lost you? You are
one of the most important people in my life, and I can't imagine
being without you. I love you so much!
