Digitally Divine

Digital embellishments, digital papers, digital stamps, digital brushes, digital templates are all digital delights that make my heart skip a beat. However, nothing can make my heart sing like the buzz and whir of a digital die cutter machine!

There is nothing better than taking a digital creation from my computer to paper by using this little piece of electronic genius! There are so many options of electronic dieuctters and accompanying software programs available today. Whether you create on a Cricut, Pazzles, KNK, Wishblade, Craft Robo, Sillouhette, E-Clips, or E-Craft you are a hybrid scrapper in action!

Take a look at the following projects cut with an electronic die cutter, then give one a try on your next project. Hybrid has never been so much fun!

Frolic in the Snow by Janice Wilson

Supplies: Cardstock: Papertrey Ink, Glitter: Stampin Up!, Markers: Copic, Stamps: Peachy Keen Stamps, Transparency: Grafix, Ribbon: Sheer Creations, Adhesive: Tombow, Scotch. Tools: Electronic Cutter: Cricut Expression (Provocraft), Cartridge: Winter Frolic (Provocraft).

Design Notes: White cardstock makes less waste, so I love to utilize it in my projects, and use my Copic Markers to add color. To give my paper piecings more expression, I love to use my Peachy Keen face stamps.

Happy Holidays Snowman by Elsa Aguinaga

Supplies: Paper: The Paper Company, Cardstock: Die Cuts With a View, Ribbon: Craft Essentials, Buttons: Recollections, Bling: Martha Stewart Crafts, Glitter Glue: Stickles (Ranger Industries), Specialty Ink: VersaMark, Studio G, Embossing Powder: Stampendous, Coloring Pencils: PrismaColor, Thread: Iris-Craft Thread, Stamps: Inkadinkado, Peachy Keen Stamps, Chalk: Inkadinkado. Tools: Heating Gun, Electronic Cutter: Cricut Expression (Provocraft), Cartridges: Stretch Your Imagination, Joys of the Season (Provocraft).

Editor’s Note: I just love how Elsa used a face stamp to give her snowman so much character. He looks so happy and jolly! Her added touch of a ribbon to the square of cardstock creates an instant present.

Winter Wonderland by Heather Gray

Supplies: Cardstock: Recollections, Bling: I-Rock, Glitter Glue: Stickles (Ranger Industries), Ink: Stampin’ Up!. Tools: Electronic Cutter: Cricut Expression (Provocraft), Cartridges: Doodlecharms (Provocraft), Embossing Machine: Cuttlebug (Provocraft), Embossing Folders: Cuttlebug (Provocraft), Punches: Stampin' Up!, Stamps: Stampin' Up!

Design Notes: I created a snowbank by ripping a piece of cardstock to get the "hilly" look. I enjoy using glitter glue to accent my pieces and give it a bit of sparkle.
